During the processing of sulfide raw material on nonferrous metallurgy enterprises the question of processing sulfur gases to produce sulfuric acid inevitably raises. This repartition is an integral part of the technology, and requires addressing the optimization of production. Violation of the ecological balance of industrialized regions is related to toxic compounds of sulfur and sulfur dioxide and sulfuric acid vapors appearing in emissions of sulfuric acid plants. Emerging polydisperse, two-phase flows are non-stationary, making it difficult to control the quality of production processes of sulfuric acid and the emissions parameters.

Currently sulfuric acid production control is carried out based on the temperature data at different points in the process scheme.
